I am a cross-disciplinary designer based in Tokyo/San Francisco/New York.
After graduating from Academy of Art University with BFA in Graphic Design, I started working at Landor Associates, a global branding agency in San Francisco, and since then my challenge has been to explore new ways of telling a story of a brand uniquely but simply. My functions include development of a brand and its visual system, system extension and package design as well as print/editorial design.
I am a photographer as well. I started photography to capture slices of time and life in my images and now challenge to integrate design and photography with my Japanese-and-West-Coast-fused artistic point of view.
New experiences are my favorite. New places, new people, new challenges. Always looking for something I have never done/seen before.
